Key responsibilities
- Setting up appropriate data and information structures to develop/present holistic view of business numbers
- Analyze the monthly, quarterly and longer-term trends to gain insights and suggest areas of performance improvement (Deviation analysis, cause and effect, impact assessment, key movements and trends in P&L lines for various businesses)
- Assist in evaluating proposals from Business by relying on data /analysis
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data to support strategic business decisions.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders.
- Identifying areas of productivity and business efficiency improvement or any other relevant metrics
We are looking for
- Sharp analytical mind with an ability to solve problems, identify issues, analyse & infer
- Competence with SQL, Python and Tableau is must
- Strong command over and familiarity with numbers
- Interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to interact with significant superiors
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a chaotic, fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Exposure towards Tableau & Power BI is a plus
Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics
- Professional certifications in data analytics, SQL, Python, Tableau / Power BI
Experience & Skills:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in data analytics / business analytics role preferably in BFSI
