Subject Matter Expert

Responsibilities

• As a Subject matter expert should be having expertise in the capital market, Derivatives and Commodities market and all the related products and processes.
• To be able to shoulder Team lead responsibility and should be able to lead and manage a high performing team of product owners and business analysts.
• Engage with business leaders and users to understand the business needs and come up with solutions including new offerings and improvements/changes to existing products and processes.
• Come up with new ideas, conceptualization, ensuring development of new products / features for products relating to Equity Cash, Equity Derivatives, Currency Derivatives and Commodities markets.
• Managing relationship with internal and external stakeholders including Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Customer Service, Revenue, Regulators, Vendors etc.
• Review and ensure detailed preparation of Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) document, FAQs, Approval Notes and other required documentations.
• Reviewing Systems Requirements Specifications (SRS) document received from Technology Team and provide sign off for development.
• Scoping out the test plan, defining detailed test cases, taking responsibility of reviewing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT), bug reporting & ensuring timely resolution with bug free launches.
• Responsible for arranging and managing successful Mock trading of products with exchanges to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Project Tracker planning and regular updates with team trackers and driving timely project closures.
• Responsible for Closed User Group (CUG) trading in Live environment and getting the feature implemented for customers in the live environment. 
• Tracking and implementing regulatory changes and
• Ensuring regular Competition tracking and industry trend analysis and update the team and stakeholders on the key findings and actionable, if any.

Qualifications and experience:

• CA / MBA (Finance)/CFA
• Experience of 10-15 years in Securities Market
• Subject matter expertise in Capital markets, Derivatives markets (F&O and Commodities)
• Experience in Algo trading products is desirable
• Experience as PMP or in Project management role is desirable from Business/Functional side
• Any additional certifications in Indian Securities Market are desirable
