About the Role
We're looking for a sharp, execution-focused SEO Manager to join our Marketing team. You'll drive organic search performance — working alongside content, design, tech, and product teams to improve visibility, traffic quality, and on-site conversions. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves being close to the work, is obsessed with data, and keeps pace with how search is evolving — from traditional rankings to AI-generated answers.
What You'll Do
SEO Strategy & Execution
* Plan and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives across a large, high-traffic financial services website
* Conduct regular audits covering crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and indexation health
* Manage keyword research, content gap analysis, and topic clustering aligned to user intent across investment and financial product categories
* Coordinate with content, design, and tech teams to ensure SEO requirements are built into every digital initiative
Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
* Collaborate on CRO initiatives to improve the quality of organic traffic — not just volume
* Design and support A/B and multivariate tests on landing pages driven by organic traffic, with a focus on lead quality and funnel progression
* Use heatmaps, session recordings, and behavioural analytics to identify friction points and surface actionable recommendations
AEO / GEO (Answer & Generative Engine Optimisation)
* Optimise content and structured data to perform in AI-driven search surfaces — including Google's AI Overviews and answer boxes
* Develop an entity-based content strategy that builds topical authority and improves brand presence in generative search outputs
* Stay ahead of how LLMs are indexing and surfacing financial content, and adapt the site's content architecture accordingly
Content Management via AEM
* Work within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to publish, update, and optimise content — coordinating with tech, content and design on workflows and templates
* Ensure SEO best practices (metadata, canonical tags, URL structures, internal linking) are consistently applied across AEM-managed pages
Analytics & Reporting
* Track and report on key organic metrics — traffic, rankings, CTR, bounce rate, goal completions — with a focus on business impact, not just channel metrics
* Build dashboards and automated reports using tools like GSC, GA4, and Adobe Analytics; proactively surface insights rather than wait to be asked
* Conduct competitive benchmarking and SERP analysis to identify opportunities and flag risks early
Automation & AI Integration
* Leverage AI tools and automation to scale SEO operations — including content briefs, metadata generation, internal linking, and rank tracking workflows
* Identify repetitive tasks within the SEO workflow that can be systematised, and work with tech teams or independently to build solutions
What We're Looking For
* 6–9 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a high-traffic B2C or BFSI digital environment
* Strong working knowledge of technical SEO — site audits, log file analysis, schema, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript SEO
* Demonstrated experience running or contributing to CRO initiatives alongside SEO — you understand that traffic without conversion is incomplete
* Familiarity with AEO/GEO concepts and a curiosity about how generative AI is reshaping search behaviour
* Hands-on experience with AEM; ability to navigate CMS workflows without heavy developer dependency
* Proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Adobe Analytics
* Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) and automation scripts to improve efficiency and output quality
* Strong analytical mindset — you make decisions with data, not gut feel
* Good cross-functional communication skills; able to translate SEO requirements for tech, content, and product stakeholders clearly
* Financial services or fintech experience is a plus
Good to Have
* Experience with Python or basic scripting for SEO automation
* Understanding of YMYL content guidelines and SEBI/regulatory constraints on financial content
* Prior exposure to large-scale site migrations or domain consolidations
