IT - AUDIT

IT Audit Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing IT audit engagements, ensuring the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with policies and regulations, and the integrity of financial and operational information.

Audit Planning and Execution:

• Planning and execution of IT audit engagements, including defining audit objectives, scope, and audit programs.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify high-risk areas and prioritize audit activities accordingly.
• Perform detailed IT audits, including reviews of IT general controls, application controls, data security, and cybersecurity.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess IT risks and control weaknesses and develop recommendations to mitigate these risks.
• Communicate findings to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of audit issues and corrective actions.

Compliance and Best Practices:

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Stay updated with the latest developments in IT auditing, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT management, business units, and external auditors.
• Provide advisory services on IT risk management and internal controls.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for improving IT audit processes and methodologies.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare comprehensive audit reports, summarizing audit findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of audit work papers and findings.

Skills and Competencies:

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP preferred
• Strong understanding of IT general controls, application controls, and cybersecurity principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in audit software and tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
