· Conducting comprehensive threat modelling exercises to identify and analyse potential security threats and risks in software systems, applications, and digital infrastructures.
· Mastering various threat modelling methodologies like STRIDE, DREAD, and PASTA is essential. Each technique brings a unique perspective to the analysis, helping you build robust defence strategies.
· Assessing the severity and potential impact of identified threats, prioritizing them based on risk levels, and advising stakeholders on appropriate mitigation strategies.
· Reviewing system architecture, code, and design documentation to detect potential security weaknesses, and recommending improvements to enhance the overall security posture.
· Collaborating closely with software developers, architects, and engineers to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle and to ensure that security considerations are part of the design process.
· Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and emerging trends through threat intelligence sources and communities.
· Defining security requirements and guidelines for development teams, ensuring that security controls are integrated into the system design.
