Job Summary

The NRI Account Opening Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end account opening and servicing for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) customers. The role includes ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, customer coordination, and smooth onboarding as per RBI and bank guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle NRI account opening (NRE, NRO) as per RBI and SEBI policies
• Collect, verify, and process KYC documents including passport, visa, overseas address proof, and FATCA/CRS
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments for account activation and issue resolution
• Guide customers on account features, KYC, and related banking services end to end
• Maintain accurate records and updated with recurring regulator changes
• Respond to customer queries and provide timely support
• Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Good English communication and mail writing
