Cloud security architect

• We are seeking a talented Cloud Security Architect with 6+ Years pf experience specializing in cloud technologies to join our dynamic team.
• The Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions for our cloud-based infrastructure.
• This role requires a strong understanding of cloud security principles, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and security of our cloud environment.

Job Responsibilities:

● Conduct risk assessments and security architecture reviews, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigating controls.

● Must be able to review new / existing products / applications against cyber security

● Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes.

● Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies in the cloud computing space, evaluating new tools and techniques to enhance our security posture.

● Define and enforce security policies and procedures for cloud deployments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

● Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security best practices and procedures, delivering training sessions and workshops as needed.

● Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud security matters, providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

● 6+ years of experience in a security architect role, with a focus on cloud security.

● Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, with experience working with major cloud providers such as AWS, and Azure, 

● Proficiency in designing and implementing security controls for cloud-based systems, including knowledge of relevant tools and technologies.
